One under rated cafe, loved their ambience and food was just so much amazing. Loved the flavours, presentation, servings , quality and quantity. Loved their peach Ice tea, pizza was so much flavourful and nice, loved their creamy soup and the bread they served. They kept refilling the tissues in the table, even before we could ask. They also provide warm water if you ask for it. Loved the seating and the lighting. The environment itself is so nice and subtle.

Located in vellechery, parking is available but limited. Peak time, i am not sure if you will get parking. We ordered a chicken steak, dynamite prawns, butter garlic wings and a prawns rice. Prawn was good but I was getting little oil smell may be it’s mustard oil smell ( might be wrong) . Butter garlic wings was pathetic to be honest. Liked their main course. Excellent ambience, service was good.

I had visited Kini’s Cafe at Velachery to catch up with a friend after many years and it was great! The food was pretty good and the ambience was nice with outdoor seating. The staff very friendly during the service. I’d like to especially appreciate Sekhar: I had left behind my wallet and had low hopes of finding it again as I had visited a few places that day and didn’t remember where I had left it. When I called them, Sekhar promptly reviewed CCTV footage and called me back to confirm they had found it! I was pleasantly surprised and they were kind enough to help package it neatly for a courier pick up as I had to catch a flight the next day. This cafe and the team have earned my respect and I will make sure I visit them every time I visit Chennai!

I’ve been visiting this place almost every two months since they opened, and it has never disappointed. The food is excellent for the price, service is consistently good, and there’s no compromise on quality or taste. Every visit feels just as satisfying as the last. Must-try items: Latte, Stroganoff,Fish burger, French toast, Spaghetti Alfredo, and iced tea.
